    Nope, the image is a jpg. Maybe the writer converted an animated gif to a jpg to make it smaller, not realising they would lose all but the first frame. Lots of these writers don't understand much about images that aren't jpgs, being brought up on smart phones and not real computers.

    Watched both fairly recently, Deep Impact is definitely the better of the two movies overall. Armageddon is just so ridiculous that it really takes away from the experience. I guess it appeals to the less mature audiences who just want stupidity and loud explosions and machoism...

    Intelligent people don't strap themselves into an unproven rocket built in their backyard shed. Any fool can build a rocket that goes a few hundred or thousand feet, you only need a few seconds of thrust in the right direction. An intelligent person would look at it and think to themselves...
