Duh, I didn't catch that... Thanks. Still, they are comparing two solid mirrors. I really don't know if the convex design makes a difference in the difficulty in manufacturing.

That's cool! Even though its last launch was a memorable first and only shuttle launch for me I had to go with the Apollo spacecraft.
