Hello. Jeff here. Just joined. Very much an amateur astronomer. Very amateur. Have visited space.com over the years. I live in the DFW area. I have a celestron 114mm telescope but (sadly) haven’t gotten it out in a while. Looking forward to some interesting conversations here.

I read that the comet will be visible at 5 degrees to 10 degrees above horizon in the NE. Is that the highest it will go or will it be visible higher than 10 degrees? I ask only because from my house there are trees that block the view so trying to determine if I would be able to see it or if...
