We have to learn MUCH MORE about physics before we can undertake interstellar flght!

Will it outperform the JWST?

When seeing the special effects in the original, it's hard to believe that movie was made almost 70 years ago!

We won't know the true size & shape of our galaxy until some very, very distant time in the future when we will have the technology to send some sort of spacecraft to intergalactic space at a speed much, much faster than light to get a still or video of it.

We will figure out how to travel & communicate faster than light when we learn more about physics. We will not be satisfied being restricted to the solar system forever!
