    What is a parsec? Definition and calculation

    The term parsec is NOT misused in Star Wars. The point of the Kessel Run mentioned by Han is to find the shortest route by DISTANCE. Less time in hyperspace = less fuel and more profit. It's the viewers who get it wrong, not the movie.
