Musk and Trump just repeated inaccurate claims of 'stranded' Starliner astronauts. NASA and the astronauts don't agree

Like most normal non agency folks I can see that NASA has not been able to bring these folks home for several months beyond their original planned visit. Not been ABLE or not been WILLING to bring them home. As far as I'm concerned that is STRANDED.

The US is now at risk of losing to China in the race to send people back to the Moon’s surface

On the other hand if we park as close neighbors and one of us has an emergency we will be close by to help each other and stop any such alarmist "war" from happening. This should all be arranged as such before we go there.

The US is now at risk of losing to China in the race to send people back to the Moon’s surface

With Elon Musk involved we should succeed before the Chinese.

Europe's Mars rover now unlikely to launch before 2026 after Russia's war on Ukraine

One has to ask why ESA is even asking NASA for help? Look no further than SpaceX to get to space a lot quicker. AND much cheaper!

Russia refuses to launch UK's OneWeb satellites unless demands are met

Time to demand a refund and tell them we'll just take our business to SpaceX in the future thank you.

Possible 3rd planet spotted around Proxima Centauri, the sun's nearest neighbor star

How exciting! How more exciting to find earth like planets around Alpha Centauri A and B.

NASA picks Lockheed Martin to build rocket to carry Mars samples back to Earth

While most any Mars exploration progress is exciting at the speed NASA gets things done SpaceX may already have folks there doing the analysis in person.

Artemis 1: Going back to the moon

"Now, at long last, humanity is about to leave Low Earth Orbit (LEO) again. Only two dozen astronauts have achieved that feat so far, all of them white men. " SO WHAT? Why did this egregiously negative comment even need to see the light of day? That these were the best qualified and in the...

'Bubble curtain' could reduce hurricane intensity in Gulf of Mexico

This is my instinct as well. Worrisome. It would be great if we had a way to harness the excess unwanted energy.

Curious Kids: What is the coldest planet in the solar system?

Original question was never answered. Wouldn't that be Neptune.

'Bubble curtain' could reduce hurricane intensity in Gulf of Mexico

As well as the above comment I would add a question. Knowing nature hates a vacuum where will the energy not expended by the hurricane wind up being expended instead? Weather control is a very iffy proposition if I understand many comments made about it in past years.

Curious Kids: What is the coldest planet in the solar system?

Isn't heat also generated by the gravitic pressure pressing inward as well?
