More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

Let's take a look at the point I am making. There are claims that the universe is expanding at a speed greater than light. I suggested that one could visualize a balloon that had a series of dots on the balloon that could represent the universe expanding at the speed of light, as was the claim...

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

I am not the one that said mass exceeds light speed, I was responding to someone who claimed that the universe is expanding at greater than light speed.

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

I am aware of the amount of energy required to accelerate a mass to the speed of light. In fact that is the point I am making. I am sorry I confused you. You claim that dark matter exists but have no proof. I am not mixing two different things, you are confused. I suggest you read my paper on...

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

The claim I am discussing is that if the Universe is expanding at more than the speed of light, the laws of physics state the force is infinite. It is not me that is living in non-physical world. It is those who are pushing a theory that is pretty much impossible.

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

To exceed the speed of light would require an infinite force. That would be enough force for anything that I suggest.

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

I am aware of the theory that space expands moving entire galaxies but is not strong enough to overcome local gravitational forces. The energy that is strong enough to accelerate the galaxies to exceed the speed of light would certainly be enough to overcome the weaker gravitational forces...

More on the Big Bang - what was before t = 0?

Perhaps the "expansion" of space can be best understood by drawing a few dots on a balloon. Draw the dots on the balloon to indicate a solar system, with a sun and planets. Blow up the balloon. The dots signifying the solar system will expand away from their sun and will unbalance the system...

A possible insight into the Big Bang

I think that I can help here. You are mixing up the number series with the physical universe. One is a part of the number line and can be treated any way you wish and the other is a physical reality that must follow the laws of physics. If I have missed your point, let me know what your point is.

Question Not when or where or how but why did the Big Bang happen.

    1) I will be going through your equations as a first step. Your first equality is incorrect in the first order in that mathematics does not exist in an area of nothingness. I will follow up when I see something that is relevant to the discussion. 2) Most of the equations I have read so far are...

Question Not when or where or how but why did the Big Bang happen.

I believe you are addressing a universe that starts with empty space, not nothing. A universe with noting would not have laws, virtual particles, space, time or anything. You need to specify what you mean by "nothing".

Question Not when or where or how but why did the Big Bang happen.

I have seen some very good replies here tonight. It looks as though the question was speaking to why the universe was created. And of course, space is part of the universe, laws are a part of the universe and time is part of the universe. So, I will address the question that was asked. I assume...
