I thought they landed on a very smooth place, but these pictures show they came close to some craters. I guess they can drive over and take a look. Should be some good pictures.

Too me it looks like a lower than normal season. Only a sub tropical storm so far. Looking at the sats daily there is nothing coming off Africa and nothing coming from the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone. Nothing from dying Cold fronts. So far very quiet.

There is one situation that the weather can be beat. The tract from KSC to Ireland. Bad weather in one area? Just save or increase the abort fuel and restart the engines and use them to fly to a good spot to land. Better would be a way to abort to orbit and maybe continue the mission.
