How about the Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner, replace the fan with a brush and Roberts your fathers brother.

Some engineers out there are probably really happy for this. It was heavily used in Chernobyl, it moved about 90 tonnes of radioactive waste. Now STR-1 is buried near sarcophagus, IIRC.

Thanks for the reply.<br /><br />Maybe this isn't such a far reach to reality.<br />What kind of changes would such a machine need to operate on the moon?
