Im taking this quote from the Heavens above FAQ's website: <br /> <br />"Q. Why does the sky chart have east on the left and west on the right?<br /> <br />A. The reason the chart seems to have east and west flipped, is because it is meant to correspond to the sky over your head, and not the ground under your feet like a map of the earth. You have to imagine holding the chart above your head to use it, and then the directions are correct."<br /><br />Shouldn't they say that you have to be standing, laying, facing, etc., to the south. Only then would the map be accurate. If i print this sky map out, and hold it up over my head facing north it would be wrong--the east side of the sky on the map would be lined up with the west and visa versa. . . . .
