Yeah, you'll have to be more specific with that.

Best show ever or best show right now?
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Ditto, Leo. Scared me to death when I was a kid. Loved it.
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

Best B+W era show: Outer Limits / Twilight Zone
Best Color (recent): Babylon 5 / ST-ToS
Best currently active show: Battlestar Galactica (although, there isn't much to really choose from in that category atm.)
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

We still don't get the new BG over here. I really liked the old show.

As for the best sci-fi show; I liked Star Trek TNG best, especially the episodes with the Borg, which were some of the best ever done in the field of science fiction, imho.

I know this show is old but the best shows in sci-fi I like are the X-files, Twilight Zone, Stargate SG1, and Earth's final Conflict.

I also like the Pretender... Is the Pretender a Sci-fi show?
We are born. We live. We experiment. We rot. We die. and the whole process starts all over again! Imagine That!

I'd rate X-Files as easily within the top 3 of all time.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Rhodan, you're not really missing that much. I was a big fan of the old show myself. The new show, while interesting, hasn't really matured yet. It's like a boring soap-opera in space at times. I am also not a big fan of "human" looking Cylons. Not all are human looking, but there are alot of them as principle characters.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

I enjoyed the first few seasons of X-Files, but lost interest when they seemed to focus only on conspiracy theory. Conspiracy was fun for a while until they started whacking us over the head with it. IMO they needed more "freak of the week" episodes in the last few seasons.

BattleStar Galactica is pretty good. The 4400 is pretty funky too, the last episode was a twister.

I think some of the best sci-fi was ST: DS9: The Dominion War story arc. Wasn't much of a fan of DS9 until a friend made me watch those episodes.

Having read a lot of Larry Niven lately, I'd like to see a bigscreen or smallscreen take on the Man-Kzin wars.

How about a bigscreen take on Saberhagen's "Berserker" books?
I put on my robe and wizard hat...
