Atoms: What are they and how do they build the elements?

Interesting. We have 118 elements now on the Periodic Table and 92 found in nature. "Atoms are the basis of the elements. There are 118 known elements in the Periodic Table, 92 of which occur naturally, and each is based on a different atom."

This indicates 26 elements are synthetic. What the article does not mention or point out, dark matter, dark energy, and the inflaton, these are not part of the standard model and not predicted. BB cosmology depends heavily upon exotic physics now using inflaton, dark matter, and dark energy. Without dark matter, it is unlikely that structure would form as the universe expands using the standard model limited to 92 elements found in nature we do see. If the simulations show this, that should be fully disclosed about BB cosmology.
