Augustine Commission Article... Where was Space.com today?

Did Space.com take far too long to post an article on the Augustine Commission's executive summary?

Here's the Space.com article on the Augustin Commisssion's executive summary which was released today:

http://www.space.com/news/090908-nasa-s ... eport.html

Anyone else find it strange that Space.com needed until dinner time to get this posted? After all, this is Space.com, not IloveQuilts.com. What was the delay? Did finding out that the US space program is underfunded, and lacking any kind of proper mission actually throw such a wrench in your reporting that you had to rewrite the article?

With a whopping 80/20 split of the vote, the aye's take it. Space.com failed in providing timely, insightful, or indepth coverage on the release of the Augustine Commission executive summary. Meanwhile, we got more mundane minute by minute updates on yet another space walk to install some obscure component of a space station which is apparently only destined to make a fiery plunge into the Pacific.

Well, space.com can make up for it by doing in-depth reporting when Obama officially kills off NASA (or at least renders it meaningless by making Constellation impotent).
