Best place to view DMSP-17 launch from Vandenberg in SoCal?

Gang,<br /><br />Any thoughts on the best spot to view tomorrow's Delta IV pre-dawn launch out of Vandenberg?<br /><br />Ideally I'd just head down to the beach north of Malibu and view from there...but the weather forecast says I'd be stupid to even attempt that. Will likely be completely fogged in. Where are the Santa Ana Winds when they're needed?!?<br /><br />Anyway, I'd probably need to go pretty far inland to get away from the marine layer...trying to decide if I chance it or just hope for better conditions for the Dec. 7 "classified payload" Delta II launch.<br /><br />Any recommendations are appreciated...

If you are reading this its probably to late but theirs a viewing area near vandenberg and also I have heard that if the weather is right it can be seen from several hundred miles away.<br /><br />I was planning to go out there for the launch but the plans fell through :/ <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
