Is it possible that black hole jets could be the origin of dark energy/matter?

I think the main problem at the moment isn't so much where the dark matter comes from as what it is. And I'm afraid that sort of has to come first in terms of doing research on it. I seriously hope you're not putting 'dark matter' and 'black hole' together just because of the 'dark' element.

If dark matter is composed of neutrinos, which last I heard was still a possibility, then I suppose black hole jets could make some, but the majority probably still come from stars.

________________

Repent! the jets are composed of material from the BH's accretion disk of infalling matter that has been deflected by the BH's magnetic fields away from the BH, and up along the black holes spin axis.

I.e. it's the lucky stuff that avoids falling in...and it's whatever the BH manages to "catch" as it drifts through space. Some of the stuff may be dark matter, but what we see is just the normal matter.

The jets certainly aren't a source of either dark energy or matter.

--------------------SaiphMOD@gmail.com -------------------

"This is my Timey Wimey Detector. Goes "bing" when there's stuff. It also fries eggs at 30 paces, wether you want it to or not actually. I've learned to stay away from hens: It's not pretty when they blow" -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Accretion disc is the stuff.Black hole keeps on attracting all matter in its surronding are .Some manage to hang around event horizon. This is the accretion disc radiating all types of electromagnetic waves. This has nothing to do with dark energy ,which is related to deceleration of universe. But black holes ,we may call them dark matter .Somewhat I MEAN.

There are many things ae cannot see in any EMU spectrum. They are dark matter.

Of course "anything is possible". Just ask Heisenberg and the string/multiverse theorists

In reply to:

"Anything is possible."

Nope. The universe is orderly and constrains all events to within those rules. There is a big difference between 'possible' and 'probable'. And believing something that isn't probable is illogical no matter what the thing itself is or whether or not it is possible.a

________________

Repent!
