Black Holes - Mass, Carge and angular momentum

-A charged black hole repels other like charges, just like any other charged object, despite the fact that photons, the particles responsible for electric and magnetic forces, can't escape.

Would this mean that if a vessel approached a black at slower then light speed and then established a charged field around it that was the same charge of the black hole itself, would the black hole would repel the vessel in the opposite direction at the speed of light?
