Bright Scorpius Star is much Closer than Previously Thought

New interferometric observations show that Shaula's Hipparcos distance is off by several hundred light-years."

That's quite interesting! It makes sense though that the Hipparcos distance could be off for close (to Earth) binaries. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
