I wonder if Max Headroom is available for the Sci-Fi channel to revisit?
Bob DeWoody

Re-runs would be great. I only saw the show a few times for some unknown reason since I really thought it was one of the best.
Bob DeWoody

Yes. It was pretty cool for its day. Bringing it back? Would people get into Devo again?

Picture the dark, post-modern, cynical world that Max et al lives in. Hell yes, it would be liked, I think. Not for the character Max, but the world it's in.

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."

What the scifi channel needs to do is to show old black and white scifi movies in the middle of the night.

Or during the daytime on the weekends.
Classics like "The Day the Earth Stood Still", or "Forbidden Planet" , or even the old, original "Twilight Zone" episodes addressed the true issues for the future, despite their 1950's origins.

The issues haven't changed, just the visual technology. I feel the technology has overwhelmed the subjects of the "plays" for too long.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Eddie,

What do you mean on Eureka? I lost track of that show when it's season went off the air. I was able to catch up on all the shows I missed that season during a marathon sesson sci-fi had a long time back.

Yes, I DO remember Max Headroom, and thot it was alright for its time, but haven't thot. about it in a while.

And as for the old sci-fi movies, that would be great. Have a night of the 50's "B" movies like the Tingler, and the monster crab on that island, and the such. But late night on Sci-fi is devoted I think to the horror and other undesirable shows I try to avoid, (personal opinion of course). I would not want to offend any sensitive(?) souls out there with what I feel or think.

But back to Eureka, is it on again? Or are you just giving examples of other things there. Eureka did have to grow on me though, but I did think it was a pretty good show though.
