Question Can anyone tell me what am I looking at

For those who use Stellarium or Starry Night software, July 10th at 0200 EDT in my location or 0600 UT, Jupiter is the bright object up in SSE sky near 31 degrees elevation. Jupiter transits at my location near 0400 EDT. Jupiter is apparent magnitude -2.70 or so, quite bright and obvious in the early morning sky now. If it is not Jupiter, well...:)

Agreed. Was very likely Jupiter. Confirmed with Stellarium.

I am enjoying periodic views of Jupiter now using my telescope, 90-mm refractor commonly from 71x to 200x. Jupiter is starting to show off now as the distance between Earth and Jupiter closes. Many interesting Galilean moon events like transits, shadow transits, and occultations for observing taking place too. 0200 to 0400 is a good time slot now for viewing.
