For example, can we create a mini-black hole the size of an atom or slightly larger (i.e. event horizon the size of an atom)?

If we could, could we use it in a controled manner to produce energy from matter?

Mathematically explaining the Black Hole,we come on the conclusion that when the matter is compressed to less than the swaterschild's radius it results in the formation of a Black Hole.

So thinking mathematically we can come on to a conclusion that we can have the one.But thinking about the fissibility of proucing it at present as far as I know we r sorry to say that we can't have the one at present.

Ofcourse why can't we produce energy by that after all it is nothing but a form of intense gravitational force.But the major question is that will we be not engulf by the mini black hole if we r near it & stationary?

Anyway its only my idea.Others can have their own.
Such black holes would not be able to feed on much if anything. However, as for the power part, you might have to settle for the radiation given off as it evaporates.

Will Pittenger
Add this user box to your Wikipedia User Page to show your support for the SDC forums:
{{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/Space.com Account}}

When the CERN laboratory is up and running in 2007 (hopefully)... they predict they will do it.

"If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing." - Homer Simpson

"If we could, could we use it in a controled manner to produce energy from matter?"

That would be a very effective weapon.

----------------------------------

My minds have many opinions
