God, what crap. I can't believe that Nat'l Geographic would stoop so low as to use the fake imagery (when so many real NSAS images are available); that cloying narration (by an accused sexist), not to mention the overall dumbing down of the contents. Shame on everyone involved with this travesty.

Oh, it's a travesty. The beginning of life was my favorite. You'd have to be a fool to think anyone understands it, but here it is. Fancy pictures, shiny objects and garbled-jargon is now "the book of nature" - my fav.

Back in 1980, astronomy thought about exoplanets but today we know there is confirmed 4119 now, The Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia Perhaps the new series will show astronauts journey to WASP-76 b, the exoplanet with likely iron rain. The Earth may be more unique with an abundance of life than many will admit.
