Note that you would first have to go to the location of the far away opening of the wormhole to create it. You could then return to home quickly.
However, just because the wormhole satisfies Einstein's equations does not mean that it can exist. Plenty of equations used to describe phenomena have solutions which are termed "trivial" or "devoid of physical content".
For example: How long is the side of a square of area 16 square meters? The formula is sqrt 16 = 4. But it also equals negative 4, for which there is no worldly example.
