Best part is where he depicts these mini-mills supposed to be up and running now. Fabricators like foundries but garage-sized. Is that going to happen or stay in the realm of Popular Mechanics etal?
My own thinking is that capitalism as we know it bottlenecks forward science unless it can be corralled and doled out like electricity? Reading about Tesla was interesting because Westinghouse first wanted to go DC and sell the stuff that would be required to make the mini-generators that would sit where coal furnaces used to. Instead we got this huge infrastructure that Ising used to build the largest utility in the US, and incidently crashed the economy, i.e. the Great Depression.
