MAIN STORIES:-<br />Scientists have long suspected that a major ingredient in comets is water ice. A new analysis of data from NASA’s Deep Impact mission which occurred on the 4th of July last year now proves it.<br /><br />Observations from Spitzer Space Telescope reveal ingredients of comet Tempel 1.<br /><br />The overall shape and surface features of comet Tempel 1 are quite different from the two other comets whose nuclei have been studied, according to the latest analysis of data and images from the Deep Impact mission.<br /><br /><br />Deep impact confirms that comets aren't mostly ice, as was once thought.<br /><br />Check out dis site for more information...<br />http://www.space.com/deepimpact/<br />
