Unfortunately, we here in New Zealand always have to wait so long for a new season that many of us resort to downloading episodes to see them. While I'm far from sick of Rose, I wish they'd waited longer before using her again. And I hope they don't gratuitously kill her off just to resolve her character and/or her feelings for the Doctor. Rose and Martha will always tend to be the 'gold-standard' for modern companions, and Donna Noble will suffer by comparison, because she's a bit different and feistier. But I quite like Catherine Tate -- I think she's a great talent, isn't a 20-something 'bimbo'... And I like redheads!!

One Percent of Federal Funding For Space: America CAN Afford it!! LEO is a Prison -- It's time for a JAILBREAK!!

Hi,

I'm new to this, just joined a few minutes ago. The first programme of Series 4 was ok, not great. My friend is currently taking xenical, which absorbs dietary fats, so helping the body to lose weight. I joked that what happened in the series. little intelligent lumps of lard, would happen to him after a while, sufice to say that went down like a lead balloon. However I am looking forward to seeing next weeks programme set in Pompey 70AD. I wonder if Frankie Howerd will be there. Ooh err Missus. lol Anyway has anyone noticed Doctor Who's pre-occupation with Earth, particually London and Cardiff? Maybe he's trying to get to Swansea to get his Licence to fly the Tardis renewed.

Stephen.

Yes, looks like the season will be packed. I was hoping they'd give the Daleks a rest for a year or two, but I guess not. I'd rather they'd used another of the old show's race -- Draconians or the original, Mondas Cybermen. Also, I'd be really pleased if they managed to get Nicholas Courtney's Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart on the show. I know he's not getting any younger, but if they had a good plot, like he's guarding a secret not even the Doctor knows about, that'd be pretty cool. Actually, I have a script idea that...

One Percent of Federal Funding For Space: America CAN Afford it!! LEO is a Prison -- It's time for a JAILBREAK!!

I just caught the episode where the Master regenerates at the end of the Universe, and the subsequent episode where he takes the persona of Harold Saxon, the British PM.

There's a little dialogue between the Doctor and the Master.
