Documentary Name?

I'm trying to recall the name of a documentary I watched a looong time ago, late 70's or early 80's. It was about the history of the (American) space program, from the first rockets (and their spectacular failures) through to Apollo. If anyone knows the name of it or something similar, I'd greatly appreciate it. I want to hook my kids on it.

I taped 5 half hour programs that starts with German and Soviet rocketry and ending with the Apollo missions.<br />My documentary is called "<b>Conquest of Space</b>". The documentary you are recalling is called space race. Documenting 25 years of NASA history, they are on 2 dvds called Race to the moon with 4 chapters on dvd 1<br /><br />Chapter 1: The Sputnik Challenge<br />Chapter 2: American in Space<br />Chapter 3: Gemini: Around the Moon<br />Chapter 4: The Era of Lunar Exploraion<br /><br />On dvd 2 is called the Era of the Space Shuttle with 4 chapters<br /><br />Chapter 1: The Years of Skylab<br />Chapter 2: The Exploration of Deep Space<br />Chapter 3: The Space Shuttle Takes Flight<br />Chapter 4: The Challenger Disaster<br /><br />Hope that answers your question
