New at the SpaceX web site is an announcement that the Dragon has passed its first safety review with NASA. It was approved on the first attempt. Collision avoidance appears to be the primary concern.<br /><br />This part at the end caught my eye: <font color="yellow">"As part of NASA’s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) competition, SpaceX intends to demonstrate its launch, maneuvering and docking abilities by 2009."</font> That means they intend to have Falcon-9 working by then as well.
