No, the earth would have spun apart with that kind of rotation. I've heard something like 12-14 hours though, back in the day. Probably not true, but it sounds good. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

good question.<br /><br />I wonder just what the shortest day possible was.<br /><br />If the earth spun just below the limit, would dinosaurs back then have only weighed a fraction of their weight today?<br />I mean this as an effect of the earths surface being close to 'flying' apart?<br /><br /><br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
