>No reason why an internal combustion engine won't work on the moon. A methane/oxygen one might be a good idea to develop, or at least look at to see how effeicent it would be.<

So much for humor.

"SCE to AUX" - John Aaron, curiosity pays off

In all the viewgraphs, there is no indication of a "hab" module like Soyuz/Shenzhou. There are important safety and comfort implications to this, despite the large size of the basic reentry capsule. There should be plenty of extra mass available on the "Stick" 2nd stage for a little elbow room. Will there be a hab for station flights? A properly modular capsule system will accomodate a range of above-the-capsule systems like airlocks, servicing/robot arms, Shenzhou-type freeflyers, etc.

Are Boeing & Grumman open to selling their CEV capsule? It could find a wide range of uses.

Josh

We need a first generation of pioneers.
