With Russia's relentlessly successful Soyuz and Progress missions to the ISS, Russia's positive comments on ISS going forward, Russia moving forward with their Kliper ship, and Russia's active promotion of space tourism, it seemed that Russia's space program (at least in recent years) could do no wrong.

Two rocket failures in one week reminds us that even Russia's space program is not perfect and launching rockets into space is a difficult endeavor.

The 21st was just one of these days these days I guess.........

You know, nothing goes as it was supposed to. Molinya failure was quite a surprise, and it seems that the solarsail doesn't feel like flying either, they had their share of bad luck

Ah well, one of these days they'll succeed.

And most of the Russian space programme is funded by foreign funds anyway, (Volna and its payload). The Molinya 3K payload isn't that hightech that its a good example of the russian space programme I think.
