Fireball spotted streeking toward the North East...

out of Orion. Did anyone else witness this one(21:45 on 1/15). I watched the sky for quite a while afterwards and saw nothing. I've been out of the loop for quite some time, so I don't recall any significant showers at this point in time. Any input would be appreciated.

Stardust re-entered @ like 4am eastern on 1/15. It must have been something else. Thanks for the response, though.

I've witnessed a couple of fairly brilliant fireballs. I saw one last year over Wilkes Barre, PA while driving north on I-81. Whatever it was (meteor or man-made debris) it appeared to be moving in a northerly direction over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area.

I saw a rather bright and fast moving object on 1/20 at around 10:20PM-11:00PM Eastern from near St. Thomas in the Caribbean. It was my first real sighting of one of these therefore I don't really know if it was a "fireball," but it was greenish yellow and lasted about half a second, very bright.
