Full Moon

Biggest and Brightest Full Moon of 2010 Tonight - Yahoo! News...or is it Yahoo News?
I was reading an article on Yahoo News, as I often do everyday. As I read on it claimed
this was the first full moon of the year. I wanted to know who wrote about this beautiful full moon
and this is how I landed here on Space.com.
I would like everyone to think back on New Years Eve night. Were you outside at all when the
clock stuck midnight taking us into the New Year, 2010? I wasn't outside, it's very cold here, but I had
my curtains pulled back so I could gaze at such a breathtaking full moon. Yes it was still full as we walked into the New year so I was confused by what I read tonight from someone working for Space.com. Perhaps they will read this and realize they were mistaken, tonight's full moon marks the second one of 2010. Peace~Janet

Actually, the Full Moon occurs at a particular instant, when the moon is exactly opposite the sun, which was on Dec 31, 2009 at 19:15 UTC, or 2:15 PM EST. So the Full Moon was in 2009, not 2010.
