Not only that, but there is also an option for a second movie as well.

With the model established by Family Guy's return – where a direct-to-video movie eventually spawned the show's return to Fox primetime as well – could the much-missed Futurama also be on the way back to a set near you?

"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. That is so great! My wife and I watch "Futurama" at least two or three times a week. We will definitely buy that if it gets made.

I must say, however, that the return of "Family Guy" to TV was a disappointment. The quality of the original, pre-cancellation episodes just doesn't seem to be there. I hope "Futurama" dodges that bullet if it ever gets put back into production.

Mybe in the new movie they will go back to the old way of writing, putting real things that could happen in SI-FI, instead of just potty humor. I mean come on an animal that poops starship fuel???? Nibbler I mean. The people writing si-fi for TV anyway don't have a clue, its jsut a story instead of a push to get there. Or mybe all the people who could push are actually employed now....I wonder?????

futurama was a sci-fi yawn, not yarn, for me.

sadly, if i stumble across it, i would give it a look like anything else. but, i wont look for it.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a382/R-GEN/venus rises/nathan_sig_joseph_negra.jpg
