My boyfriend has it. Seems kind of cool if you're into that sort of thing, I don't really like the game but it's kind of amusing at the same time...

I've lost hours of my life to this game already and I fully expect to loose yet more.
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring" - Chuck Palahniuk.

Is it true that the 'Grand Theft Auto' games realistically model the street maps of the cities where they take place?

I usually only enjoy role-playing and real-time strategy games, so I wouldn't know. I had a friend who was completely addicted to "Grand Theft Auto", though.

Is it true that the 'Grand Theft Auto' games realistically model the street maps of the cities where they take place?

Each GTA game is loosely based on the setting of a respective movie. Liberty City was based on NYC (think Godfather and Goodfellas), Vice City on Miami (think Scarface), and San Andreas on LA (think Boyz N the Hood and Menace II Society).

u can get a tank cheat & wreck up the city. u can make cars into hovercrafts. i`m thinkin the limo would make a great hovercraft. tried the race car & dune buggy the wheelbase was 2 short(flipped too easily). i can`t remember whether or not the lmo has 2 sunroofs or not. they would make great turrets if u could take someone else along w/ Denise. also look 4 the tallest building. u can basejump from up there & u can bring vehicles along. we actually landed intact w/ a police SUV. i`m wonderin if the freighter can be stolen. u can get the boats hoverin too, but i haven`t seen that yet. we just rented it for a week.

I went out and bought it last night, played on a borrowed PS2 for about 5 hours last night. The game is really pretty cool, I just wish is didn't show up so dark. I went into the game settings and bumped it up to max brightness and it was still too dark. I had to change the settings on my TV to try and correct, now I can see a lot better, but it appears pretty washed out. The soundtrack is really awesome though, but I can't believe the degree of cusing that takes place...
Don't let your sig line incite a gay thread ;>)
