There has been a lot of back & forth about if the Green Hornet film due out in January would be worthwhile or not. Based on some early cuts at Comic-Con some commentators were downright snarky.
Sony was worried, but the edits were incomplete so gauging how it would turn out would have to wait for the test screening in Long Beach. Now the word is in from this screening, and the word is;
Very Good to Excellent ranking: 93%
Recommend to family/friends: 83%
More screenings are forthcoming, but the Long Beach focus groups are usually pretty predictive. Because of this Sony has started planning for a sequel.
