Help name that cartoon....

Ok, maybe it's not sci-fi, but this seems to be a good place to play "Name that..." My fiance has been going nuts trying to remember the name of an old Saturday morning cartoon. All she can recall was that it was a guy flying a red or brown biplane, wearing the typical aviator helmet/goggles. It was on the ABC KidZone or KOMO 4 KidZone, somewhere around 20-30 years ago. For years and years, I would say to my friends "Do you remember Speed Racer?" and I would only get blank looks. Even my brothers couldn't remember it. I used to to watch it on Channel 0 in Victoria, Australia in the early 70s. I notice recently, it has had a resurgence as they try to fill up all the Cable TV space - but for many years it was almost forgotten! <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
