How to watch SpaceX launch

For me, it would be an absolute dream to watch a SpaceX launch. Does anyone have any tips about when it would be best to go, places to watch from, or an other helpful hints. I know that for the next 6 or so months, only the Falcon 9 will be launching, is it worth it to wait for the Falcon Heavy?

Anywhere near Cocoa Beach is great. I prefer night launches and watching from the beach but that won’t let you see it leave directly from the pad. Lots of great places to watch with clear views of the pad.

If you can wait for a Heavy launch do so. Seeing the first stage landings is really cool!
