I am not defending global warming, but just as a reminder:
Melting of floating ice does not raise sea level. This is due to Archimedes Principle.
However, this is not completely true, since ice is not composed of salt water (and the sea is) so there is a density difference of about 3%. So there is a very small increase in level.
Melting of ice on Greenland and Antarctica (on any land mass) does raise sea level.
