Humans could move to this floating asteroid belt colony in the next 15 years, astrophysicist says

The idea has merits - the lower gravity of Mars, the Moon, etc may well be detrimental to the establishment of sustainable human colonies but, perhaps, we should be even more ambitious the nitrogen on Ceres may prove to a valuable export to future colonies on Mars, the Moon and the clouds of Venus too helping to build a linked interplanetary economy. Nitrogen is the fuel used in Dearham engines to provide motive power and power is the basis of everything you need in space. It is worth exploring this idea further.

Wouldn't the costs be astronomical and such living fraught with random devastations? And the time frame. Wow in 15 years, with the wife, the kids, the cat and dog and maybe the mother-in-law. Of course, it could be worse, like Poughkeepsie on a Saturday night. As a well used expression in NYC goes "Zei Gezunt".
