Hi all. Re-registering was a pain. I went through the registration process with my old name, but when I went to activate, it indicated that it did not have it. Glad to see you made it back Doc!<br /><br />I got lucky, I guess... mine was already there. BUT... but... I'm crawling out of the quantum foam now... Grrrrrr! Yeah, the bummer for me is that we have been doing a rather intense test entry in the lab for the last month and a half. I had the same problem, and had to go the new ID route. I had worked my way up to what I thought was a quite respectable Asteroid too. The worst part was reading the articles on SDC and not being able to come into here, and see what additional perspectives the "armchair experts" had to offer.<br /><br />I can't say I am entirely saddened by the clean-out though. Nice to not have to search pages and pages of threads looking for subjects I vaguely remember being discussed. I first suspected they may have taken the board offline to apply the new "non-flaming" policy across the accumulated posts. Nevertheless, I think they should institute some form of "humane death" for threads that haven't been active for a certain period of time.
