Immediate help, please

I am trying to view the sun with my telescope. I don't have a filter, so I can't view directly.<br /><br />I am trying to project the image onto white cardboard. but whenever I do this all I get is the image of the primary mirror.<br /><br />Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Your focus is way off.<br /><br />Back the eyepiece out a good distance, then walk the screen in from a distance.
