I teach an 8th grade science class in Egypt. Have any ideas about an interactive astronomy site that I can use for a two week unit?

Hi beres -

Welcome to SDC! This place is pretty active... I'm not really sure what your looking for but I'll tell you what: we can trade places. You can come here to Vegas and I'll bring my telescopes to your class. (I wish....!) I'll scout about and see if I can find anything. Maybe somebody else will beat me to it.

This is stuff one of the prof. in my astronomy department is working on. Good stuff, if a bit limited in scope right now.

I'm not sure how much is open to the public, but feel free to dig around.

http://astro.unl.edu/naap/headerdocs/naap.html

--------------------SaiphMOD@gmail.com -------------------

"This is my Timey Wimey Detector. Goes "bing" when there's stuff. It also fries eggs at 30 paces, wether you want it to or not actually. I've learned to stay away from hens: It's not pretty when they blow" -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"
