Manned Mars Ship could look something like this?

Maybe in the future?

Anyway, I just thought it looked good, and wanted to share it.

Yeah that ship looks cool. Reminds me of the Daedalus from star trek.

Reminds me of the Daedalus from star trek."

Gooble, I think you meant to say "Aries" from Star Trek?

Here is the Daedalus, which was designed by Carl Sagan & NASA folks for an unmanned interstellar probe. This vehicle could have reached Alpha-Centuri our nearest star (4.1 Light Years) in 36 years one-way. This vehicle was a real design and effort and was not Science Fiction, as the "Aries" of Star Trek was.

grooble: "Build the enterprise!"

Firstly, the Enterprise is a Science Fiction Star Ship for Interstellar Travel, not a Solar Cruiser for Interplanetary Missions.

Large Solar Cruisers for missions to Luna & Mars, and other Planets in our Solar System, will be built in the next 10 years.

Such ships as Enterprise may very well be built in the next 50 years, for real!

They may not look anything like Enterprise though?

The International Space Agency would love to build something like Enterprise, but for now we are focusing on the International Space Plane Program and the Earth-1 Solar Cruiser Program.

Here is the Enterprise, 1701-A!

Last night, Rick Berkshire, whom you claim as one of your group, attacked SDC under the name of eric_apollo, and as a representative of ISA. The attack was unwarranted, and included multiple irrelevant SPAM postings, ad hominems, and extremely vulgar and offensive language.

As the proclaimed leader of this group, I beleive it is your duty to set things right. Before proceeding, I believe that you should appologize to Space.com, and to each of the members that Rick attacked with vulgar emails and SPAM postings.

Our Solar System must be passing through a Non Sequitur area of space.
