that pass, just now, was so close, ...
it looked like it was going to go right over it!
wow! i was trying not to jump up and down, for fear of jiggling the cameras.

i'm shooting film these days, so it'll be a couple days before i see the images

heavy overcast all day, clouds cleared around jupe about an hour before the flyover,
then, .. covered the planet before i had even gotten my tripods packed up for the hike back down the hill

... a gift to me from the sky

very disappointed in the result.
(i don't know if anyone is following this)

the shutter was open so long, the image came out waaayyyy over exposed.

here is what i was able to digitally scrape, from the scanned film

ISS with shuttle docked, passing in and out of clouds, from right to left,
jupiter rising, tracing, ... when the ISS passed jupiter, it was under the big planet by part of a degree
