Can't you just see the trial that would happen if Anakin lived? As the sole survivor of the Death Star that blew up Alderaan, this would be the trial of all trials. And what would be his defense? "I was under the influence of the Dark Side." Yeah, right. <br /><br />Or maybe: "Well, it wasn't me that pulled the trigger, it was Tarkin." Of course, we know he could have stopped it if he wanted to, which he didn't.<br /><br />In the end, Anakin would have been executed or at least imprisoned for life. How he made it to Force Heaven after all those atrocities is beyond me. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
