Blue has existed for 25 years and they are yet to put anything in to orbit as far as a commercial payload from a paying customer. Yes, they have contracts to do certain things in the future but so up to now, Bezos has been footing the bill for almost everything. The whole company has to be deep in the red.

So your comment about Bezos taking a pay cut, is rather silly at best. The media would roast him if he said he also took a pay cut. He has been paying for everything for 25 years. Giving himself a salary with his own money just doesn't happen. If anything he might have hopes of going public one day to cash out. They have a lot work still to do in order to make that feasible.
