With $1.7 billion in the coffers of a space enthusiast, the decision to build a space fleet is a no-brainer. Sometimes i wonder if people like Bezo's create empires like Amazon, driven by their desire to improve human spaceflight.<br /><br />He might have had such ideas in his head when amazon was just scribbled notes on a piece of paper.<br /><br />

Check back on the thread we had in here a while ago about Virgin Galactic. I'd done some 'googling' and reading up on radiation - a round trip long haul flight is equivalent to a chest x-ray, IIRC.
