Kliper is being replaced by a capsule? If that is the case then why not just put one on the ATV service module? ESA has already carried out a re-entry test with the ARD and is planning another in the not too distant future to develop Mars sample return technology for the Aurora programme. I'm sure the data from it would be just as valid for a manned capsule.

I would certainly prefer an operational capsule design with a tiny Norwegian flag on it to artwork of a shuttle design with a tiny Norwegian flag on it.

I seem to remember artwork of Ariane 5 with a capsule atop it.
