I wonder if the delay to the planned launch of Boeing's Starliner last Friday (July 30th) due to the mishap with the unplanned thruster firings of Russia's recently arrived Nauka module on the ISS could turn out to be a blessing in disguise? If the launch had taken place as planned could the problems with the "unexpected valve position indications" in the capsule's propulsion system have manifested themselves after separation of the Starliner capsule from the ULA launch vehicle resulting in (another) failed mission? At least the delay allowed the problem to be identified and (hopefully) a permanent solution found.....
