Leaving Pluto in the dust: New Horizons probe gearing up for epic crossing of 'termination shock

Good to see that New Horizons made it this far and may continue to deepen our knowledge of the termination shock. The shoutout for an interstellar probe is also nice to see.

That said, I hope this science survives the 20 % budget cuts that the above-and-beyond performer the Webb telescope now faces. That thread went political, against the expert references given, and was closed down but what those anti-science sympathizers overlooked was:
"NASA is having budget constraints across the entire board, so the institute is being asked to consider a significant — about 20% — cut to our operational budget for the mission starting later this year," Tom Brown, who leads the Webb mission office at STScI, told a crowd of scientists last month at the 245th American Astronomical Society (AAS) meeting in National Harbor, Maryland.
